Kevin Pomfret is a corporate partner at the Williams Mullen law firm where he represents government contractors and tech companies on a variety of matters, including privacy and cyber security. He is co-chair of the firm’s Unmanned Systems practice group and the Data Protection and Cybersecurity practice group. In addition to his legal representation, Kevin founded and is the Executive Director of the Centre for Spatial Law and Policy.

He is also a member of the National Geospatial Advisory Committee, and an adjunct lecturer on Geospatial Law and Ethics at Johns Hopkins University. He regularly conducts training and workshops on legal and policy issues associated with the collection, use, storage and distribution of geospatial information.

A recognized industry leader, Mr. Pomfret is called on to speak around the globe on this growing topic critical to issues of privacy, national security and economic development.
